My first impression of the hotel is that AWC really went all out. The interior design is very unique and outstanding. The hotel is beautiful from the entrance, lobby, hallways, to the rooms. The work is different and pays attention to every detail.

The swimming pool is also beautiful, decorated in a unique style, with a peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation.

In addition to the beautiful decoration, the service at InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping is excellent. The staff are attentive to customers and the service is truly worthy of the InterContinental brand. It is truly impressive.

The room opens to a minibar on the right-hand side, which also has a hidden cabinet for storing an iron and a flashlight. The room comes with a Nespresso coffee machine, and the tea is Monteaco, a Thai brand. The minibar is well-stocked, but drinks are chargeable.

Goong Mung Gorn Ayuthaya (410 Bath) is a very good deal. Two large river prawns for only 410 baht. In fact, it is actually river prawns. Usually, a large river prawn would cost around 600 to 800 baht. The dish also comes with mango salad and a salad. This is a great deal, and the prawns are grilled to perfection.

In addition, the restaurant has a great selection of grilled skewers. I tried a few different things, including pork and duck, but I highly recommend the Thai Wagyu Mak Kwan (195 Baht). The Thai Wagyu beef is grilled to perfection and served with a simple salt and pepper dipping sauce. It is absolutely delicious.

The bakery was particularly impressive. It was on par with what you would find at an ultra-luxury hotel. The chef had told us the night before that the bakery was one of the things they were most proud of, and he was right.

The hotel is beautifully decorated in every detail, showing the owner’s attention to detail and commitment to the hotel.
The service is excellent and the staff are attentive.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is varied, elaborate, and of excellent quality.
As I mentioned at the beginning, InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping will change tourism in Chiang Mai forever.

With its luxury accommodation and excellent service, it is one of the IHG hotels that is not to be missed.
It is a very well-done hotel.
