Today, I had the opportunity to stay at The Peninsula Bangkok, one of the best hotels in Bangkok.

It’s truly a legendary, ultra-luxury hotel in Bangkok, and it has consistently received the 5-Star Forbes Travel Guide Star Award since 2025. This award is a testament to The Peninsula’s luxurious accommodations and excellent service.

Last year, the hotel was also honored with 2 Michelin Keys.

The Peninsula Bangkok, which opened in 1998, is a highly popular luxury hotel in Thailand. It boasts 370 rooms, 3 restaurants, a multi-tiered 288-foot swimming pool, and 14 spa rooms.

The hotel enjoys a beautiful riverside location along the Chao Phraya River, offering stunning views. It also provides a shuttle boat service to nearby attractions. The large, cascading swimming pool is quite long, and there are both indoor and outdoor hot tubs available for guests to relax in.

Moving through a door, you enter the bedroom. There’s an incredibly comfortable sofa and a spacious work desk.

There’s a large dining table in the room, and on it, you’ll find a beautifully crafted chocolate boat, along with fresh fruit and macarons. The spacious bedroom itself boasts a King-size bed and absolutely breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Chao Phraya River.

Luxurious Bathroom

The bathroom is beautifully designed and decorated. It features His & Hers sinks, allowing two people to use them simultaneously. The large bathtub even has a TV screen, a hallmark of truly luxurious hotels.

All the amenities are generously provided, including toothbrushes. The shampoo and soap come in elegant, fragrant aluminum tubes, exclusive to the Peninsula brand.

Moreover, the bathrobes provided in the bathroom are incredibly soft and comfortable.

If you’re taking the BTS Skytrain, you can go to ICONSIAM via the Gold Line and then it’s about a 350-meter walk.

Typically, guests staying at this level of luxury hotel would arrive by car or limousine anyway.

They’re perfectly sized, grilled to perfection, and served individually, making it an incredibly satisfying experience. Beyond that, there are scallops and incredibly tender beef steak. The entire spread is magnificent and incredibly diverse.
