Hello everyone! Today I want to show you one of the most value-for-money IHG hotels in Japan.

The hotel is the ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe, the only IHG hotel in the city of Kobe.

The ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe is a great example of how IHG One Rewards members can use their benefits. This isn’t just about ultra-luxury hotels like the Regent; you can really use these benefits in a practical and accessible way. This is especially true for those who are working to earn the 40-night Milestone to get Lounge Membership. You can actually use it for real trips at a fantastic redemption rate of just over 20,000 points per night.

For a well-located Premium hotel in Japan, a long trip like this—staying four or five nights—will only cost you around 100,000 points. Anyone who has been collecting points for a year or so should have enough to redeem them. If you were to compare this to other hotel chains, a stay at a premium hotel with lounge access might cost you 10,000 baht per night—that’s 50,000 baht for five nights! What’s more, even during peak seasons like autumn foliage or cherry blossom season, the points redemption rate is still incredibly worthwhile.

The ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe is directly connected to the Shin-Kobe Shinkansen Station. The location is truly excellent. If you’re coming from central Kobe, you can take the subway directly to Shin-Kobe Station, and the hotel is connected to the station entrance, so you can walk right in! It’s incredibly convenient.

Additionally, there’s a large supermarket right below the hotel with a huge variety of food at great prices. This makes the hotel incredibly well-equipped for a comfortable stay.

There’s also a new bus service from Kansai International Airport, though it only runs twice a day.

The hotel has many facilities, and its location makes it very convenient for getting around, including to the Kobe Sanda Premium Outlets.

On a higher floor, there is a Club Lounge with beautiful views. It offers Afternoon Tea and Evening Cocktails for Club guests and IHG One Rewards members with Lounge Membership.

A huge highlight of this hotel is the incredible breakfast. It has a local flavor that’s hard for tourists to find on their own, with dishes like wild boar soup and rice balls wrapped in seaweed, which are very popular in Thailand right now! The fruit selection includes melon, and the salad bar has a menu with large prawns.

There’s even a soft-serve ice cream machine with a blueberry flavor that is intensely, wonderfully blueberry. I really appreciate breakfasts where the chefs put in more than 100% effort. For example, they have 15 different kinds of jam, all locally and Japanese-made. The food selection is very diverse.

The ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe is a fantastic value. If you’re looking for a great hotel at a good price to redeem points for a long trip to the Kansai region of Japan, this is an option that IHG One Rewards members definitely shouldn’t miss. It’s truly worth it!

This is the 2 Double Premium City View Single Sofa Bed room, located on a high floor (25th floor) and measuring 44 sqm.

It’s a very spacious room, but the layout is a bit unique. Upon entering, you’ll find a walk-in closet area with a wardrobe and a vanity table with a washbasin on the right side.

The wardrobe is equipped with hangers and slippers. To the right is the bathroom, which has a Japanese-style design with a Japanese toilet and a bathtub.

A toothbrush is provided, and you can request additional amenities if needed. The amenities are a premium brand called Antipodes, which the hotel is now using throughout.

Passing through the walk-in closet, you’ll enter the very large bedroom. There’s a work desk located in the right-hand corner of the room.

The comfortable bed is a double, and by the window, there’s a sofa and a table, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view of Kobe. The view from this room is absolutely stunning, offering a full panorama of the city and the sea.

A safe is available in the room, but all power outlets are Japanese-style.

On the far left, against the wall, you’ll find a cabinet with a moderately sized TV, tea, coffee, a refrigerator, and two bottles of drinking water.

The Club Lounge is located on the 37th floor. It’s a large room with a spectacular view of the city and Kobe Bay. The view is absolutely incredible.

Tea, coffee, and soft drinks are available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Breakfast is served at the main restaurant, TERRACE, on the 4th floor.

I was only able to catch the Evening Cocktail session. I have to commend the staff; they were incredibly proactive. As soon as any food or drink item ran low, they immediately refilled it. The service was top-notch.

There were snacks and bread, but also a good selection of proper food. Highlights included thick cuts of pork roast, vegetable and shrimp tempura that was delicious with salt, and small fried fish. There was also a large piece of roast beef with red wine sauce, along with roasted vegetables, tofu, cold cuts, and a wide variety of cheeses.

For alcoholic beverages, there was an excellent selection of Japanese sake, along with wine and beer for self-service.

The tea served is Ronnefeldt, a brand used by many luxury hotels, which was a wonderful touch. The fantastic view made the experience even more enjoyable.

– The breakfast was excellent and very diverse. You can see the effort they put into it, and there were also local specialties, which was fantastic.
– The hotel offers great value, whether you’re paying for a stay or redeeming points for a free night. It’s a great choice for both autumn foliage and cherry blossom seasons. Definitely worth it.
– The Club Lounge is wonderful. It has beautiful views, good food, and the staff service is truly exceptional.
– The service from this hotel chain has made me a loyal customer. I come to this location so often that the staff now recognizes me.
– The hotel is in an excellent location, right next to Shin-Kobe station. I highly recommend it. Plus, there’s a supermarket under the hotel with great food prices, and it’s connected to the subway.

ปกติ สถานี Sannomiya จะเป็นสถานีหลัก ไปเที่ยวได้ทุกที่เลย

If you’re coming from Kansai International Airport, I recommend taking the bus.

After exiting the airport terminal, you’ll find a ticket machine to purchase your bus ticket. Take the bus to Kobe Sannomiya Station. From there, you’ll walk a short distance over a pedestrian bridge.

Then, go down to the underground level of Sannomiya Station and take the subway to Shin-Kobe Station. The hotel is directly connected to the station via an underground walkway, and you can take an elevator up. It’s incredibly convenient.

The entire trip takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes and costs 2,410 yen.

Normally, Sannomiya Station is the main hub, so you can easily travel to all other destinations from there.

Just an update: there’s now a bus that drops you off directly at the hotel. It costs 2,200 yen, but the service is not very frequent.

ให้นั่งรถไฟชินคันเซ็น ไปลง Shin-Osaka เพียง 15 นาที แล้วไปนั่งรถไฟฟ้า ไปเที่ยวต่อเมืองต่างๆ สะดวกสุดๆ

If you’re staying for a longer period and plan to visit Osaka or Kyoto, I highly recommend the Kansai WIDE Area Pass. It costs 12,000 yen for a 5-day pass.

You can take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Shin-Osaka in just 15 minutes, then transfer to local trains to explore other cities. It’s incredibly convenient.

I was only able to catch the Evening Cocktail session. I have to commend the staff; they were incredibly proactive. As soon as any food or drink item ran low, they immediately refilled it. The service was top-notch.

There were snacks and bread, but also a good selection of proper food. Highlights included thick cuts of pork roast, vegetable and shrimp tempura that was delicious with salt, and small fried fish. There was also a large piece of roast beef with red wine sauce, along with roasted vegetables, tofu, cold cuts, and a wide variety of cheeses.

Breakfast is served at the main restaurant, TERRACE, on the 4th floor, which is the same level as the lobby.
The most outstanding feature is how excellent the breakfast is. It’s truly fantastic and includes local specialties that tourists would be unlikely to find on their own.

Next up is a live station for local specialties. There’s white sea bream (madai) served with green tea over rice, and a variety of hand-rolled sushi rolls. This type of sushi roll is currently very popular in Thailand. There are four fillings: Kobe beef, chicken and avocado, ham and cheese, and grilled salmon. Every single one was delicious and felt very special.

This time, I stayed at the ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe by redeeming points. I redeemed 20,000 points well in advance. As the stay date approached, the hotel’s nightly rate had shot up to 10,000 yen due to a large number of conferences and concerts.

I received a 4-5 level room upgrade, which made the points redemption incredibly worthwhile. It was like getting a value of about 1 baht per point—truly fantastic.

The hotel is located right next to Shin-Kobe Station, a high-speed train station, which is an amazing location. If you’re coming from Kobe, you can take the subway to Shin-Kobe Station, and the hotel is directly connected, allowing you to walk straight into the hotel from the station! It doesn’t get much more convenient than that.

Additionally, there’s a large supermarket directly beneath the hotel with a great selection of food at excellent prices. It’s truly a hotel with everything you need.

A major highlight is the breakfast. It’s outstanding and features local dishes that a tourist would never be able to find on their own, like wild boar soup and seaweed-wrapped rice rolls—which are becoming very popular in Thailand! The fruit selection includes melon, and the salad bar offers a large shrimp salad.

The Club Lounge is also fantastic, with delicious food, superb service, and an incredible view.

This is a highly recommended hotel for IHG members with Lounge Membership who are planning a trip to the Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto area and are looking for great value.
