This is the latest update for 2025!

It’s a great value hotel with an unbeatable location and it’s very popular with international travelers. This hotel is a Midscale property under the IHG brand.

The absolute highlight of this hotel is its location. It’s incredibly convenient, situated just 200 meters from BTS Chong Nonsi station, right in the city center, allowing you to go anywhere easily.

It’s close to many attractions in the Silom area, all within easy walking distance. It’s also near restaurants, and it’s super convenient to walk to Bangkok’s popular viewpoint, the Mahanakhon building.

For a hotel at this price point and this location, the rate is usually excellent. It’s a fantastic deal, especially with the purchase rate for 5,000 extra points.

This hotel is perfect for people looking to achieve a Milestone or collect points towards IHG Diamond status. It’s also ideal for tourists who enjoy exploring the Silom-Sathorn area or conveniently taking the BTS to ICONSIAM.

I booked the entry-level room and was able to upgrade one level. The room, a 20 sqm 1 Queen Standard Front of Building, offered a great view from the front of the building.

Though it was a standard size, the layout was well-designed, making it feel spacious.

I appreciate Holiday Inn Express for providing a work desk.

Amenities included tea, coffee, and bottled water. The bathroom was private with a lock and a bidet.

The 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash was from Soak.

The closet included a safe. For longer stays, there’s a laundry room on the first floor with coin-operated washing machines and an iron.

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn is super close to Chong Nonsi BTS station, just a 200-meter walk.

If you’re driving, there’s plenty of underground parking available.

As you approach, you’ll find the hotel on your left-hand side.Drive in and park in the underground parking. Take the elevator up to the lobby.

Alternatively, a short walk from the BTS station will bring you to the hotel.

The room is on the same elevator as the parking garage. You need a key card to access the floor.

The hallway and room are beautifully decorated.

I was assigned a room at the front of the building, which offered a pleasant view, although it required a slightly longer walk.

จริงๆ ผมชอบ Holiday Inn Express ของ IHG มากกก

คือมีโต๊ะนั่งทำงานได้ วันนี้ ผมนั่งเขียน รีวิว ทำงาน ก็ นั่งทำงานได้จริงๆจังๆ มากกกก
ที่นี้ก็นั่งสบายด้วยยย มุมทำงานสะดวกมากๆๆ ครับ

I’m a big fan of Holiday Inn Express, especially the functional work desk. I spent quite a bit of time working in my room and found it to be very comfortable.

The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool.However, there is a small fitness center on the first floor equipped with treadmills and dumbbells. Guests can access the gym using their room key.

For those who need to do laundry, there’s a coin-operated laundry room and an iron available for use.

The Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn boasts an outstanding location right in the heart of the city and offers excellent value for IHG members.

It is extremely convenient for travel because of its proximity to BTS Chong Nonsi, making it very popular with both tourists and Thai locals.

I usually stay here every year to collect points and nights, complete promotions, and maintain Diamond status annually. This time, I booked using the “buy points” rate for an extra 5,000 points, which cost around 3,000 Thai Baht per night (a little more). This stay secures my Diamond status for next year, which is incredibly worthwhile given the value of the points and other promotions I receive in return.

I highly recommend this hotel as one of your top choices for accommodation in Bangkok.
