Hello everyone! Today, let’s take a look at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka, Vignette Collection. This is a massive hotel that offers incredible value and a fantastic location in Osaka. It is a true favorite for IHG One Rewards members, especially those who hold a Lounge Membership.

Location & Transportation

While the hotel is a bit away from the main Osaka Station, they provide a shuttle bus every 15 minutes from the station, making it very convenient. It is also located right next to Nakanoshima Station (subway), which provides easy access to Osaka Castle (though it still requires a fair amount of walking).

Since this is a large property with over 1,000 rooms, the pricing is excellent, and it is a high-value option for redeeming points—even during peak seasons like Cherry Blossom or Autumn Leaves, and despite its recent rebranding to the Vignette Collection.

For members with Lounge Membership, this hotel is an absolute steal. The lounge offers:

Room Review: 1 King Suite (52 sqm)

I used a Confirmable Suite Upgrade (CSU) and stayed in a 1 King Suite, which has been fully renovated:

• Layout: 52 square meters, featuring two bathrooms and a massive living room.
• Comfort: The sofa is incredibly comfy, and there is a large dining/work table.
• Amenities: Mineral water, an air purifier, and a generous supply of TWG tea (luxury brand style). It also includes green tea and a Nespresso machine.

Bedroom & Bathroom

The bedroom has a large, comfortable King-size bed and high-quality pajamas.

The bathroom follows a traditional Japanese layout but is decorated with high-end luxury materials. The amenity kit is fully stocked (toothbrushes, combs, razors), and a standout feature is the provided skincare cream, which is a great touch. The bath amenities are from the brand LUE.

The 1 King Suite is 52 sqm. and has been fully newly renovated. It features two bathrooms
the guest bathroom is located immediately at the front of the room and has Japanese-style sanitary fixtures.

The wardrobe is in the living room and includes a large luggage rack, a steam iron, a safe, slippers, and another large luggage rack, with pajamas/sleepwear located on the shelf below.

There is a large living room with an extremely comfortable sofa, a large dining/work desk

complimentary mineral water, and an air purifier.
The tea selection is TWG, generously stocked and presented like a luxury hotel brand, including green tea, along with a Nespresso coffee machine. The minibar is stocked, but charges will apply.

The bedroom has a large King Size bed and provided sleepwear, offering an incredibly comfortable sleep.

A dressing table/vanity is available right outside the main bathroom entrance.

The shower room is in a Japanese style but features a very luxurious design, with a full set of amenities provided, including toothbrushes, combs, and razors. A special feature is the provision of body lotion—it’s superb! The amenities brand is LUE.

The Royal Lounge offers a VIP, private check-in area for Club Room guests on the 1st floor.

The Royal Lounge itself is located on the 23rd floor and offers beautiful views.

Throughout the day, they provide beverages including tea, coffee, soft drinks, and juices, along with snacks and cookies.

The Breakfast line is not very large but notably includes salmon roe (ikura) and melon, which are excellent.
Afternoon Tea includes sandwiches, custard, cookies, and a full Afternoon Tea set that comes with cakes.
The Evening Cocktail features a small self-service buffet line, as well as a set menu that includes items like anchovies. Alcoholic beverages are served continuously until 9:00 PM (21:00).

– The location is excellent, with a shuttle bus service to Osaka Station every 15 minutes until 10 PM, which is very convenient.

– The hotel has been newly renovated, making the rooms feel incredibly new.

– There is a lounge for IHG members with Lounge Membership, which keeps me full all day and saves significantly on beverage and food costs.

– The service quality of this hotel chain has made me a regular customer. I visit this particular location so often that the staff now recognize me.

– The hotel price is excellent, whether paying cash or redeeming points—it offers outstanding value. If redeeming points for an extended stay and using a Confirmed Suite Upgrade (CSU), getting a suite is extremely worthwhile.

ถ้ามาจากสนามบินคันไซ นะครับ เรานั่งรถไฟ มาลงสถานี โอซาก้า ได้เลย!! ประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง

Let’s start! If you’re coming from Kansai International Airport, you can take the train directly to Osaka Station. It takes about one hour.

จากสถานี Osaka เราเดินมาขึ้นรถบัส ตามตำแหน่ง ที่ผมลงไว้ในแผนที่ได้เลยนะครับ รถบัสจะสีเขียว มาทุกๆ 15 นาที นะครับ
จะมีคนยืนเข้าแถวรอขึ้นรถบัส อยู่ นั่งจากนี้ประมาณ 10 นาที ถึงโรงแรมนะครับ

From Osaka Station, you can walk to the bus stop at the location I marked on the map. The bus is green and comes every 15 minutes. There will be people queuing up waiting for the bus. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel from here.

I only had breakfast at the Royal Club. It wasn’t very crowded, and the food was served buffet-style. The food was quite good.
