Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg (FBB) yesterday announced the much-awaited opening date for the new Berlin airport that will carry the BER airport code.

BER is set to open on 31/10/2020. This is the date announced by the airport’s CEO Engelbert Lütke Daldrup to the Supervisory Board. Further information on this will be made available today at a press conference starting at 5pm at the Mercure Hotel at Tegel airport.
