These “General Promotion Terms” shall govern all Offers under this Promotion.
You must be an IHG® Rewards member and must register your member number in advance of staying, to participate in the “3X” promotion (“Promotion”). Members can pre-register for this Promotion starting 15 September 2021 through 30 September 2021. Members will be able to register, stay, and earn for this Promotion beginning 01 October 2021 and ending on 31 December 2021 (“Promotion Period”). Upon registration, members will be presented with the opportunity to earn 2X points upon completion of their second qualifying stay, and then 3X points completion of their third qualifying stay and all subsequent qualifying stays, during the Promotion Period when paying a Qualifying Rate (as such rates are defined in the IHG Rewards terms and conditions). For the Promotion, earning “2X” or “2X points” or “double points” on a 2nd qualifying stay means the member will receive two (2) times the “base points” the member would normally receive just for being an IHG® Rewards Club member. For example, under the Promotion, for a one-night second (2nd) qualifying stay at a rate of $100.00, the member would earn 1,000 base points (10 points per USD x $100 = 1,000 points) and an additional 1,000 promotional bonus points, for a total of 2,000 points.  For the Promotion, earning “3X” or “3X points” or “triple points” on a 3+ qualifying stay means the member will receive three (3) times the base points on their 3rd qualifying stay, and all subsequent qualifying stays. For example, for a one-night third (3rd) qualifying stay at a rate of $100.00, the member would again earn 1,000 base points (10 points per USD x $100 = 1,000 points) and then an additional 2,000 promotional bonus points, for a total of 3,000 points. The promotional bonus points under this Promotion are calculated based solely on the base points the member is eligible to earn for a qualifying stay just for being an IHG® Rewards Club member, and any Elite status bonus points or any other bonus or promotional points the member may be eligible to receive for the same stay are not included. You must register, book, and stay on or before 31 December 2021 to earn points during the Promotion Period. 

By clicking “click to register” you are registering for the Promotion. Members will be awarded points based upon the number of stays consumed during the Promotion Period at IHG® brand hotels, with some exclusions. Offer available at participating Six Senses properties, as identified on each hotel’s booking page. Promotion Period begins on 01 October 2021 and ends 31 December 2021.  Members will only receive points for stays occurring within the Promotion Period. A stay can begin before the Promotion Period or end after the Promotion Period but will only receive the Promotion bonus points for dates within the Promotion Period. Nights that occurred before or after the Promotion Period are excluded. The points earned during the Promotion can be used towards Reward Nights, can be redeemed for merchandise, or for other redemption opportunities.

Qualifying Stays are a minimum 1-night stay booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding US $30 for each night. Note that multiple checkouts for consecutive qualifying nights at the same hotel will count as one (1) qualifying stay; non-consecutive qualifying nights at the same hotel may count as separate qualifying stays. The Promotional Period includes 92 nights and the maximum number of promotional bonus points that can be earned is 70,000 over the entire Promotional Period.

Only one room per member per Qualifying Stay will be eligible for the applicable points, or other benefits (if any) available under the applicable Promotion. If more than one member checks into the same room, only one member is eligible for the applicable points, or other benefits (if any) available under the applicable Promotion. If a member books more than one room on the same night, they will only receive Promotion points on one room and points will be based off the room with the higher average room night rate over the Promotion Period.  IHG Rewards Members with a Miles earning preference will earn Points. No retroactive points will be awarded for nights prior to member’s registration in the Promotion. Except as otherwise stated in the terms and conditions, please allow up to 4 to 6 weeks for Promotion points to be credited after checkout.

This Promotion is subject to standard IHG® Rewards Members Terms and Conditions and earning structure, which can be obtained by visiting www.ihgrewardsclub.com. Member can only participate in one Promotion at a time, unless otherwise specifically allowed by IHG. IHG reserves the right to remove a member’s points or cancel a member’s account if fraudulent use of the Promotion is detected. How do I know if I am eligible for the 3X promotion? 
This promotion is available to all IHG® Rewards members. 
 

If I registered for the 3X bonus points promotion, which ran from 5 May – 16 August 2021, do I still need to register for the 3X promotion?
Yes, these are separate promotions and require separate registration for members to be eligible to earn.
 

When does the 3X promotion begin and end? 
Registration for IHG® Rewards members begins on 15 September 2021 and ends on 31 December 2021. Members can earn points on their stays at IHG® Hotels & Resorts globally, from 01 October 2021 – 31 Decmber 2021. Stays consumed prior to registration for the 3X promotion will not be eligible towards earning bonus points.
 

How can members earn 3X throughout this campaign? 
Members who complete stays on a qualified rate at any IHG® Hotel or Resort globally will receive DOUBLE the points they would have received on their 2nd stay and TRIPLE the points they would have received on their 3rd stay – and all subsequent stays throughout the promotion period.
 

How many points can I expect when participating in the 3X promotion?
A member earning “2X points starting on their 2nd stay”, as defined by this campaign, will receive two times the points earned on their 2nd qualifying stay. For example, if a member earns 1,000 base points on their 2nd qualifying stay – they will earn an additional 1,000 bonus points in the 3X promotion.
A member earning “3X points on 3+ stays”, as defined by this campaign, will receive three times the points earned on their 3rd qualifying stay, and all subsequent qualifying stays. For example, if a member earns 1,000 base points on their 3rd qualifying stay – they will earn an additional 2,000 bonus points in the 3X promotion.
Member can only earn a maximum of 70,000 points during the 3X promotional period.
 

How will the Points be awarded for the 3X promotion for Elite status members?
Promotional bonus points under the 3X promotion will be awarded based on the number of base points the member is eligible to receive for a qualifying stay under the Promotion as described in the preceding FAQ, whether the member is an Elite status member or not.
For Elite members, the Elite bonus is determined separately using only the base points earned on the stay and does not include any promotional bonus points from the 3X promotion.
Example One - A Spire Elite member completes their second qualifying stay at an IHG Hotels & Resorts property. The stay is two nights long and the member spends $100 on each night. The Spire Elite member will earn a total of 6,000 IHG Rewards points with this promotion, as outlined below:
2X the points for a qualifying 2nd stay under the Promotion results in a total of 4,000 points: The Base Points earned (points member receives for their stay just for being an IHG® Rewards member) at 10 Points per USD X $100 X 2 Nights = 2,000 Base Points + an additional 2,000 Promotional Bonus Points earned by member for their qualifying stay under the 3X Promotion, for a total of 4,000 points.
Then for also being an Spire Elite Member, the member would earn, separately, their 100% Elite bonus on the 2,000 Base Points earned = 2,000 Elite Bonus Points. 
The combined total of the above is: 4,000 points (2,000 base points + 2,000 promotional bonus points) + 2,000 Elite bonus points = 6,000 total points.
Example Two – A Spire Elite member completes their third qualifying stay at an IHG Hotels & Resorts property. The stay is two nights long and the member spends $100 per night. The Spire Elite member will earn a total of 8,000 IHG Rewards points with this Promotion, as outlined below.
3X the points for a qualifying 3rd stay under the Promotion results in a total of 6,000 points: The Base Points earned (points member receives for their stay just for being an IHG® Rewards member) at 10 Points per USD X $100 X 2 Nights = 2,000 Base Points + an additional 4,000 Promotional Bonus Points earned by member for their qualifying stay under the 3X Promotion, for a total of 6,000 points.
Then for also being an Spire Elite Member, the member would earn, separately, their 100% Elite bonus on the 2,000 Base Points earned = 2,000 Elite Bonus Points.
The combined total of the above is: 6,000 points (2,000 base points + 4,000 promotional bonus points)+ 2,000 Elite bonus points = 8,000 points.
 

What stays are eligible to earn 3X?
Member will be eligible to earn points after they have registered for the campaign. Stays that are eligible to count towards points must meet any of the below criteria:
The stay is a Qualifying Stay. Qualifying Stays are a minimum 1-night stay booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding US $30 for each night.
The stay occurs within the stay/book period.  
The stay occurs after the member registered for the campaign.  
A member can register during a stay and will be awarded if they register before their stay period ends. 
 

What is considered a Qualifying Rate? 
Qualifying Rates include most business and leisure rates, such as Advanced Purchase rate, Best Flexible rates, Global sales negotiated rates (including but not limited to Corporate Gold rates), national/regional/local government rates, and specified leisure rates as confirmed by IHG’s reservation systems. In Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Greater China hotels and resorts, Qualifying Rates include all locally negotiated rates.
 

Is there a max number of points a member can earn throughout the promotion period? 
70,000 points is the maximum number that can be earned during the promotional period.
The “up to 6,000 bonus points” cardmembers earn from this promotion is in addition to the points earned through the 3X promotion. Cardmembers have an opportunity to earn, at most, 76,000 bonus points over the entire promotional period.
