Celebrations all round as we have surpassed a milestone 6,000 hotels across the globe! We are incredibly proud of this and of our growing pipeline of more than 1,800 properties – but this achievement is about more than numbers. Every single hotel we open is a special moment for IHG. Thanks must go to our owners for their collaboration and our guests for their love and trust in our brands.

To mark the moment, we have created the ‘6,000 Club’ – a collection of stunning newly opened hotels from IHG’s iconic portfolio, showcasing the global reach of our 17 brands and the many ways our hotel teams delight owners and guests by delivering True Hospitality for Good, every day. Hotels included in the 6,000 Club will be able to gift 25 lucky guests 6,000 points upon check-in!

Our CEO, Keith Barr, also rang the bell for the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange yesterday, alongside hotel General Managers and colleagues. Another exciting way to commemorate our exciting growth story.
