The renovation focused primarily on the bedroom, updating it with a sleeker, more modern look by incorporating clean white tones while still preserving its original unique character.

The room is incredibly spacious; if you love roomy suites, you’ll definitely love this. The sofa has also been replaced and is now ultra-comfortable to sit on, plus there is a dedicated corner with a table for both working and dining. To ensure a more relaxing stay, the hotel has completely replaced the bed for ultimate comfort. There is also a brand-new TV installed to support Apple AirPlay in the future, paired with a sleek, high-end Harman/Kardon speaker, and even the wardrobe has been redesigned to perfectly match the newly renovated room.

Outside, there is a balcony with a daybed that is incredibly comfy—I absolutely love lounging out here because the atmosphere is just amazing. The absolute highlight of this suite is the outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony, where you can soak while enjoying the view. For refreshments, tea and a coffee maker are provided, now featuring the Charu brand. Lastly, the bathroom features a massive bathtub that is perfect for a relaxing soak, and the toiletries have been upgraded to Byredo, perfectly matching the luxury standards of the InterContinental hotel.

Let’s get started! As usual, I visit Hua Hin every year, both for leisure and work. And of course, when I’m in Hua Hin, I always stay at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort. It’s my go-to place.

As always, I drive there and see the hotel sign. However, you need to turn in before reaching the main entrance. The parking is located on the basement level.

In summary, I booked the rate with a 5,000 bonus points package as usual to maintain my Diamond status. In total, including all the bonuses, I earned nearly 10,000 points plus another 2 bonus nights, which is totally worth it. Booking in the middle of the year gives such a great price! I booked the entry-level room and got upgraded to a 78 sq.m. 1-Bedroom Hua Hin Suite with beautiful ocean views—such an incredible value. The bedroom is gorgeous, and the weather this trip has been perfect. Even though it’s peak season, I managed to get an amazing rate.

It seems like the breakfast has been massively upgraded this time. The spread is fully loaded and spectacular, featuring high-quality items like ice cream and fresh mangoes, and everything tastes absolutely delicious.

InterContinental Hua Hin Resort is truly exceptional. Its location is unbeatable—a luxury beachfront resort like this is hard to find in Thailand. The swimming pool is both stunning and grand, and the service is excellent, offering a very peaceful vibe. The bedroom is so much more comfortable now, the amenities are great, and the welcome treats were premium and delicious. Soaking in the bathtub was pure bliss. Combined with the food and service from Club InterContinental, which was also delicious, it really lives up to its status as a luxury hotel. This remains one of my most impressive stays in Thailand, and I am delighted every single time I come here to relax.
