Maa Lai Suite Green Lung View, size 87 sq.m., on the 23rd floor. It is a corner room with full views of the lush green garden.

The room is so beautiful, amazingly decorated, looks super luxurious, and is very large. The living area and the bedroom are separate from each other.

When you walk in, you’ll find the living room, which isn’t very big as the focus was given to the bedroom, making the bedroom quite spacious.

The minibar offers tea and coffee; the tea provided here is from the ARAKSA brand, the coffee machine is from Nespresso, and the kettle is from SMEG, which is super luxurious. There is a refrigerator fully stocked with drinks, though these come with an extra charge.

There is a small dining corner that can also be used as a workspace. The welcome fruits and welcome treats are amazing—there’s chocolate made to look like a Scrabble game, which is super awesome and really pretty. In addition, there are filled chocolates, macarons, and Thai desserts.

The desk has power outlets and USB 3 ports so you can charge your phone.

The bedroom is huge, taking up half of the total space, with a wall-mounted TV that can be swivelled, a nice sofa corner right in the middle of the room, and a big King Size bed that is super comfortable to sleep on.

The guest rooms at Kimpton are uniquely decorated—understated luxury with great design in every detail, absolutely beautiful.

The view from this room faces out towards the US Embassy side, giving it a very serene and green feel.

The hotel also provides an eye mask, which is very pretty and you can take home. Plus, there is a Vifa speaker with great sound quality.

The bathroom is huge and clean white. The closet, iron, and luggage rack are located inside the bathroom, and a yoga mat is provided as well.

Another highlight of Kimpton Hotels is that the bathrobes have a unique design that varies from hotel to hotel, perfect for taking chic photos to post on IG, and this one features the latest pattern.

Essential amenities like toothbrushes are fully provided. The soap and shampoo are now in bottles, switched over to refillable bottles from O’right. The scent is exclusive to Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok only—the Maa-Lai Collection scent, which is mainly jasmine.

Let’s get started.

It’s located in an upscale neighborhood like Langsuan, though it is a bit of a walk from BTS Chit Lom, about 1 kilometer away. It shares the area with the Sindhorn Village community mall, which is abundantly packed with restaurants and a supermarket—making the location super convenient.

There are two entrances; I’ll be driving in from the front entrance.

The first dish was Lomo Saltado Tacos (THB 598). This is hands down the best taco dish I’ve ever had! The tenderloin was grilled to absolute melt-in-your-mouth perfection, with a bold, spicy kick from the chili. The taco shell was perfectly crispy, and the sauce was amazing—this dish is beyond incredible!
